ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
My name is Xinyao Yan, and I am a creative professional specializing in 2D and 3D animation. I graduated from Ohio State University with the financial mathematics major and art minor degree. I am proficient in software such as Adobe Animate, TVPaint, Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter, combining technical expertise with artistic creativity in my work.
I have interned at leading companies in China, including Lilith Games, where I created character animations by Flash. And also in NetEase, I contributed to the frame-by-frame production of the animated series Daddy Loong, which aired on TikTok and YouTube.
Outside of work, I love traveling, especially to the seaside. I recently visited Cancun and hope to explore Miami this year. I also enjoy spicy Chinese food, which I eat daily in New York, and have a special fondness for desserts, especially chocolate croissants.
